Contracted by Stenball Group, SE Commercial Services carried out post-build and sparkle cleaning at The Ivy in Glasgow during October 2026.
The prestigious setting required a high standard of finish as building work approached completion. With only ten days remaining before opening, the team had to combine detailed cleaning with a demanding programme.
OUR APPROACH
Detailed work, sustained team effort.
We deployed teams of ten per shift, working around the clock over the final ten days before opening. The cleaning scope included:
Paint removal
Detailed removal of paint residues from floors following building work.
Floor cleaning
Acid washing of floors as part of the agreed post-build cleaning scope.
High-level cleaning
Cleaning at height alongside the detailed work needed for the final presentation.
A challenging but rewarding project, bringing together specialist cleaning tasks and a sustained team effort within a tight deadline.
